Overview:

The Spellman PTV series power supply will provide -40kV at 5mA for use on the ion accelerating grid. This power supply will be used as a test supply for reactor diagnostics and tuning that require continuous operation (>5 min) without shutdown intervals for main power supply cooling. This power supply can generate a stable output and is equipped with internal voltage and current monitoring as well as analog voltage control.

HV connector is an Amphinol LGH4i connector with a 1"-14tpi threaded interface. The supply is controlled via a 9 pin molex connector.

A cable is made to connect the supply to the reactor control board. Pins 1-9 on molex correspond to pins 1-9 on IDC connector.
